Oil India Limited(OIL) invites applications from eligible candidates from its production and exploration areas in the districts of Dibrugarh, Tinsukia and Charaideo of Assam and Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh for recruitment to the under mentioned posts:

1. Name of post: Junior Assistant-I (Clerk- Cum- Computer Operator)

Educational Qualification:

Essential:  

a) Passed Class 12th or equivalent in any stream from a Govt. Recognized Board/ University.
b) Must have minimum 06 (six) months Diploma/ Certificate in Computer Application and should be fully conversant with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc. Proficiency in computers with minimum typing speed of 30 (thirty) word per minute.
Desirable: Working Experience in Computer.

2. Name of post: Senior Assistant-I (Assamese Translator)

Educational Qualification:

Essential: 
a) Must be a graduate from a Govt. Recognized University with at least 50% marks in Assamese as a major subject as well as English as one of the elective subjects in pass course.
b) Must be capable of translation any matter from Assamese to English and English to Assamese and good command over Assamese and English Language.
Desirable:
a) Post qualification experience in Assamese to English and vice versa translation jobs.
b) Certificate or Diploma in Assamese Translator Course from a recognised institute.
c) Working experience in computers and conversant with bilingual processing (i.e., Assamese & English Typing)

Age (as on 30/10/2017): 

General: 18 -30 Years.
SC/ST: 18-35 Years.
OBC(non creamy layer): 18-33 Years.
PWD/Ex-servicemen: As Per Government of India Directives.

How to Apply:

(a) Eligibility of Candidates will be based on the details provided by the candidates in prescribed Application Form. Hence, it is necessary that applicants should furnished only accurate, full and correct information in the Prescribed Applications received in format other than that prescribed/as given will be rejected. Furnishing wrong/false information shall lead to disqualification of the application.


(b) Candidates must submit 02(two) copies of recent 3cm x 3cm coloured photographs and self attested photocopies of the following documents/certificates/testimonials along with the correctly filled-up Application Form.

* Admit Card or Pass Certificate of Class 10th or Equivalent indicating Date of Birth and issued on or before the crucial date i.e. 30/10/2017.
*Requisite Qualification documents/certificates/testimonials as under:

1.Junior Assistant-l :

a) Mark sheets/Pass Certificates of Class 10+2 or equivalent issued on or before the crucial date i.e 30/10/2017.
b) Six Months Diploma/certificate in computer application issued on or before the crucial date i.e 30/10/2017.

2.Senior Assistant-l : 

a) Mark sheets/Pass Certificates of Graduation issued on or before the crucial date i.e 30/10/2017.

* SC/ST Caste Certificates issued on or before the crucial date i.e 30/10/2017.
* OBC(NCL) Certificates valid as on the crucial date i.e 30/10/2017.
* Discharge Book/Service and Release certificates( in case of Ex-Servicemen) valid as on the crucial date i.e 30/10/2017.
* Employment Exchange Card or Z.S.W.O Registration Card( in case of Ex-Servicemen) valid as on the crucial date i.e 30/10/2017.

(c) Candidate must ensure that all the details provided by the candidates in the prescribed. Application form tally with the respective attached documents/certificates/testimonials. Any mismatch in declaration with the enclosed documents/certificates/testimonials shall lead to Disqualification of the Application.
